am a self tought artist (oils on canvas) for 50 years. continue to paint daily. have organic flower & veggie garden (40 years) live by the nat`l park with nature. live long & happy!
This worked out great for us. We were visiting Gatlinburg for 4th of July week for a dance competition at the convention center. It was a quick 30 minute drive, and nice restaurant on the way in, a kitchen in the cabin so we didn't have to eat out every meal, a creek on the property for some easy creeking in the evenings, and a fire pit for some s'mores. Oh and two less-travelled entrances to the park, so we could enjoy mother nature without the holiday crowds. Being a clutz, the staircase to the bedroom was my least favorite part of the cabin, but that is small concession. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and down-to-earth. He anticipated our needs and I am sure if we had needed anything more, he would have been quick to help (but he had everything taken care of!). The other guests that we saw when walking the property were friendly as well. I would definitely look to rent a cabin from here again next time I am visiting the area. Oh, you are in the woods--bring some DEET.
They cabin was everything we were looking for, quite,secluded and simple.
Everything was wonderful. I did expect a few more basic supplies in the cabin like soap, dish soap, garbage bags. Etc. we loved our stay.
This little cabin was nestled away in a secluded wooded area . It was so peaceful . If you want fancy this place isn’t for you,but was perfect for my husband and I. We don’t need all the bells and whistles . It was located very close to the Cosby enterance to the park ( lots of great hikes leave from there ) . Thanks Iva for this hidden treasure ! If we vacation in TN again we will definitely be back !!!
This cabin is great! If you want seclusion and privacy and a no frills vacation...this is the place! It has everything you need. It's not fancy...but a cabin in the woods shouldn't have to be fancy :) I will totally book this location again! The owners were great and accommodating. The cabin was close to all the best hiking you could want. Rent This Cabin!!!!! You'll be glad you did!!
