Some highlights of this place are Clearwater Marine Aquarium which is on northern portion of Florida state road is a prominent reserve where fishes that may be in some danger (manmade or natural) are rescued and facilities of bio-rehabilitation are provided o them. Some species of fishes that can be found here are-dolphins, whales and turtles. Many shows and educational presentations are organized to offer something to learn for kids and grownups. A kayak tour that is headed by guide can be arranged for anyone, which lasts two hours. The timings of this museum are-Monday to Thursday, its stays open from 9AM -5PM. On Fridays and Saturdays, the time changes from 9AM – 7PM whereas on Sunday the timings are 10AM – 5PM.

Pier sixty fest is held at sunset in Pier sixty Park on the above-mentioned beach in Central West Florida. It is free to attend event. Artisans, street performers, craftsmen and musicians come here to entertain and serve the audiences. If climate stays favorable, films are also screened in the open, which is free of cost. Films are shown on Friday and Saturday. Tourists who wish to avail this opportunity must carry a blanket or a comfortable chair with themselves. Popcorn, snacks and soft drinks are made available. A cruise voyage is also available for tourists. On the cruise, people can watch Dolphins playing in the Mexican Gulf. All those who have decided to come here alone or with their families will only return with fond memories.
