My husband and I have been to the Cozumel/Riviera Maya area several times and have always gone the All-Inclusive route, so we were looking for something different. We thought we'd try renting a condo, buy our own groceries, cook for ourselves and try out many of the restaurants on Cozumel Island. We were not disappointed! Paul, the owner, was so great to work with and was always willing to answer any and ALL our questions before staying there. The condo itself was more than we had hoped for! Although it is small, it was just perfect for 2 people. The condo is very clean and well-decorated. The first time we walked through the door, we were amazed to see how close we were to the ocean. The view was the best we've ever had. We were so close to the beach/ocean we could hear the waves hitting the sand. And on top of it all, we could sit on the balcony or down at the beach each night and watch the lovely Cozumel sunset. It WAS paradise! The condo is well-equipped with anything you may need to cook light meals (microwave, toaster oven, toaster and 2-burner hot plate). Paul has thought of everything. The grounds are well-kept and both pools were clean and heated. We were especially happy that we had American television (DISH network) and WiFi and a U.S. landline, which you can use to call the U.S. at no charge. We had great phone reception, so were able to keep in contact with our family back home. Overall, I would highly recommend staying in this condo. We know we will be back!

This was our first time staying at a condo south of town. We rented a car and the trip in and out of town was not nearly as inconvenient as we had thought it might be. The view from the condo is terrific and I would say that the description and pictures in the VRBO listing are accurate. The balcony is generous and somewhat protected. Paul was a pleasure to work with and he seemed to be really interested that we enjoy the property. Hot water was instantaneous and plentiful which is important to me when I arrive back "home" after diving. That has not always been the case in other condos on the island. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning to Residencias Reef for future trips.

We had a lovely week in a spotless, quiet property. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Beach was just fantastic! (I am glad we had our water shoes to get past the rocks to snorkel.) And I LOVED the heated pool! Cabs were easy to get, and reasonable. Snacks/meals were purchased at Mega when we just wanted to relax. Coffee on the patio every morning was delightful. Many nice restaurants in town, but our favorite was Guido’s. The beautiful garden setting, staff and fabulous food were a treat. We hit Pancho’s Backyard on our way to the airport, and that was a pleasant surprise.

I have stayed at the Reef several times in different buildings. For this trip it was just me and my husband so the studio worked perfectly for us and was very comfortable. Steps to the beach and the view just can't be beat. If you are a diver the dock is right outside and the complex has dunking tanks for your gear. I did not actually get to stay in this condo as I was called home midway through my vacation to deal with the corona virus shutdown of my business. Paul was most gracious and gave me full credit for another visit which I have already booked with him. I can't wait to get back there. The place is beautiful. Paul was very helpful with everything and I highly recommend you stay in his condo. Was great from the start to finish! Paul was terrific and communicated every detail with us, providing a great set of docs that had instructions, directions, and contacts...plus he personally called to make sure we had no other questions! The unit was well laid out and had everything we could need, including US land line, Wi-Fi, water and then all essentials for the bed, bath and kitchen. The view is SUPERB! We could see the ocean from every spot in the unit...even the shower if you didn't close the curtain. Property Manager, Fulvio was terrific and was full of great information. Our family joined us for a week for the Thanksgiving holiday. They stayed in larger condos to accommodate their families so the two of us were able to rent from Paul and enjoy a little quiet time in his studio. We stayed in Paul's studio suite for two weeks while in Cozumel. Paul was excellent to work with throughout the entire experience. Good communication leading up to the trip and very responsive while we were there, even for topics not related to the condo (he's a good travel guide). The condo is in building 1 which looks right out on the beach so it's a great view sun up until sun down. The condo includes phone, TV, and wifi and I found that you could even pick up the wifi on the beach if you were in the right spot. The snorkeling right off the beach was cool as well and although my wife and I are not expert snorkelers we quite enjoying swimming up and down the beach area. If we had one complaint it would be that the hot plate in the condo is not very efficient so cooking takes a while. However, there are so many great little places to eat on the island this didn't really cause us any grief. Everyone was so wonderful on our trip we're sure to return to Cozumel. This was our third trip to Cozumel. The condo is actually nicer than I expected, extremely clean and well appointed. It is small as expected, however every inch of space is well thought out and it is equipped with everything you need. The proximity to the water and view are awesome! Paul the owner has thought of everything, he and Fulvio the manager will answer any questions that you have. My husband and I travelled to Cozumel for the first time working with Paul the owner of the condo was a great experience! The condo is very well equipped and very tidy. The location is amazing look out your balcony and you see sunset, sunrise and the ocean and all of its beauty! The condo development is great pools awesome and guests and owners at condos are great. This condo is everything it was supposed to be. I was really impressed with the service from Paul and from Fulvio.. Thank you Fulvio for the shopping trip ( I owe you) and Paul for calling before we left to make sure all was ok. For anyone considering this condo for a rental, don't look any further!! You have found the right place and the right owner. The condo is clean and everything was as nice as the photos suggest,,.,., in fact, the photos do not do the condo justice. I thought the condo was nicer than it shows on line. As for the Reef Residences... the staff is friendly and helpful ... we had an incredible experience under the pier with the fish … only had goggles, but was safe and easy to view the fish and see the amazing colors…... The other guests/owners were very friendly.. and the weather was perfect. This is genuinely a "Parrothead Paradise". We will be back..

I usually come to Cozumel and stay at an All Inclusive resort. This was a spur of the moment trip that I intended on going solo. Found Paul\'s \"Slice of Heaven\" and couldn\'t have been more happy. Last minute had a friend join me for the trip and everything was perfecto! Location and price can\'t be beat! Can\'t wait to return to Paul\'s heaven!!!!

If you’re looking for a quiet place to kick back and enjoy million dollar views, this is it. Paul’s studio is the perfect couple get away. The place is clean, nice, decorated in bright colors, well equipped (microwave, fridge, dishes, towels, etc), and VERY affordable. The pools are wonderful, the beach is gorgeous, and the sunsets are to die for. If you’re a diver, things could not be easier. You’ll wake up, grab a cup of coffee, brush your teeth, and walk across the beach to the pier where your dive boat picks you up.
