Mark & I are the proud new owners of this beautiful condo. We live in Huntsville, Alabama. We bought this property from our good friends, the Howards. We have decorated it with beauty and comfort in mind. This is our beach home. We hope that you enjoy your visit to our condo as much as we do! Mark & Erica Thimsen purchased this Condo in 2015 Why Mark & Erica Thimsen chose Gulf Shores Crystal Shores is a beautiful, modern building with luxury amenities. It is close to everything in Gulf Shores.
Renting process was easy. Communication was good. Condo was excellent. Enjoyed our stay very much.
The condo was great everything to make your stay a great experience. they were painting the building but it did not keep us from using the facilities. Mark kept us up to date on the progress as they informed him. The only bad thing was the weather it was unusually hot for that time of year. We have stayed at Crystal Shores three times this is the best one that we have stayed in there.Thanks Mark
This condo is everything you need and more! We stayed for a week and seriously did not want to leave. It was very clean, had all the necessities and was conveniently located - plus right on the beach! We've been to Gulf Shores several times and by far this condo is our favorite! We had to reach out to the owners a few days into our trip when we discovered the DVD remote wasn't in the condo (there was no way to play a DVD in the player, we could not figure out how to watch a DVD). This is the reason for the 4 star marking on the accuracy of the listing because the DVD player wasn't able to be used. The owners were very friendly, responsive and tried their best to assist. Did not ever figure out how to use the DVD player without its remote. That was the only trouble (if you'd even call it that) that we had during our whole trip. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone who is visiting the area. It is very well maintained, beautifully decorated, and the owners are friendly and available if you need them during your stay. We had the best vacation in Gulf Shores! This condo is beautiful, quiet and the location is perfect. We watched dolphins swimming not far from the shore and the sunsets and moon shining on the water was spectacular. Loved the wrap around balcony and the pool was very refreshing with it’s cool water !
This was a very nice condo to stay in. Location was great. The beds were amazing, so comfy. The only small issue we had was with the dryer, the dryer vent got crinkled up in the back and after we fixed that everything was great. Pool is a little small and it was very cold. But that didn't matter to the kids Lots and lots of dolphins. Will be back!!! The kids and grandkids loved it.
First time staying at a condo on the beach with the family. This place was awesome. So very clean and supplied us with all that we needed. Beautiful balcony that we enjoyed every morning and evening. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for sharing your place. Had a great family vacation!!!

This was by far one of the best condos we have rented. Beautiful rooms, well stocked, and the view! Oh the view! The balcony was the best! We can’t wait to come back!
Wow! What a wonderful condo to rent! Beautiful views of the Gulf with great sandy beaches. The condo is very comfy and it is so well decorated and clean. The condo is on the corner of the 4th floor which allows extra room and privacy. The owners are easy to work with and are very accommodating. We hope to rent next year! Overall, our trip and stay was fantastic and it certainly exceeded our expectations.
The unit is even nicer than the pictures. This was our first visit to Gulf Shores and it exceeded our expectations. Loved being right on the beach and having that huge balcony.

Perfect condo on the beach!!!!! Clean, comfortable, kitchen was well stocked! I loved being able to watch our teenagers in the ocean from the balcony. Already trying to plan a trip back in December!!!
We loved the location of the condo and how it was well maintained. We are definitely going to be staying there again! Hopefully next year we can bring our kids and grandson! We had a blast and highly recommend!
This was our second time staying in this unit in Crystal Shores and it is quickly feeling like our home away from home. Everything in the unit is so clean and comfy, and the convenience of being just steps from the beach is perfect. Easy parking with a short walk or drive to restaurants, pool and hot tub when you need a break from the sand, and a quiet and friendly atmosphere around the condo all make an already good experience great. We happened to be staying during the day that Tropical Storm Gordon came through and the unit owners were wonderful to communicate with us to make sure we felt safe and had everything we need. Couldn't recommend this rental more, and we truly look forward to staying here again very soon!
The condo was clean and updated to our satisfaction. The furnishings were satisfactory and a special note of how good the kitchen was furnished with items that you don't ordinary find in any condo. A pleasant surprise to us as we have stayed at several all over the country. Each time we had a question the owner was very available to us and we appreciate that so much. Lovely place and we would gladly stay there again.

We just returned from a week stay in this condo. When we first arrived and walked in, the unit made us relax. The décor of the condo is very beachy and relaxing. Warm colors and comfortable furniture. Very clean!! The kitchen had everything needed to fix breakfast or a full course dinner. Plenty of plates and utensils. Coffee maker makes great coffee. Ice maker kept up with our demands and worked great. The beds were very comfortable. We all slept like logs. There was plenty of towels and linins. Being on the fourth floor is a plus. You are high enough to be above the hustle, but close enough that you can walk the stairs. Overlooking the pool and the walkway to the beach is a plus, as there are some sites to be seen. The baloney and furniture were just as the pictures show. Nice! The elevators are quick up and down, so the trips are short once you get in. The staff at the condos and on the beach are very pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed talking to all of them. If you are looking for a great place to stay, then you need to consider this condo. We will certainly than of returning to it next year when we go beaching again!

The condo was perfect for our family! Neat, clean, and updated. The view overlooking the beach was a great place to just sit and eat or relax. Just what we needed for our week away to paradise! The indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub was great, when it was too dark to enjoy the beach. The covered, reserved parking spot was wonderful, too, especially since we went during a hot week!
The home was very clean, bright and beautifully decorated. They were so thoughtful with having laundry detergent, paper towels, dish washer soap, scented pump hand soap in both baths, beach towels if you forgot yours, and MANY other personal touches were thought of by the owners. We have never stayed anywhere else that had these personal touches. I say "GREAT JOB" Mark and Erica, your home made an impression on us, from the fabulous views with the corner unit to the comfortable unit itself. Everyone should stay here, if you can get it!! It was a very comfortable place to stay. It was very nicely decorated and had an amazing view with easy access to the beach. The reserved parking spot came in handy as well. I will definitely think about returning!!
The condo was just what we needed for grandma and grandpa and our grand daughter. Enjoyed the ocean front balcony in the mornings and evenings. So relaxing. Had everything we needed, and was one of the cleanest places I have stayed. Would definitely stay again, in fact we are already talking about a trip next year. Mark was always very quick to respond to my emails, and answered all of our questions. The reserved parking spot was nice to have.

The condo was well maintained and furnished in a location that was perfect. The indoor and outdoor pool options were perfect for our kiddos. The space felt like home for the week. The structure was the right size with the right amenities. Our only issues were timing related (pool closed for 2 days for maintenance and construction on the road and building next-door). We appreciated the condition and the care. We'll recommend and may stay again in coming years. Thanks Mark and Erica!
