Minimum Rental: 7 Nights You can have it all – privacy and convenience. The owners of this wonderful property called Sunshine Place are willing to share a portion of their piece of Paradise with you. The ground level living area of this home is perfect for one or two people who treasure the tropical atmosphere offered here in The Florida Keys. There’s an efficient little kitchen stocked with everything you need for meal preparation and dining (pots, pans, dishes, flatware, glasses, etc.); a snack bar; and a formal dining area overlooking the water. Large sliding doors open to a patio area with a BBQ grill and lounge chairs. The living area offers comfortable furnishings to watch your favorite shows on the large flat screen TV. This enclave of tropical bliss offers ocean views and lush landscaping. It was completely remodeled in 2011 and is a short walk to boat rentals, Rum Runners at Holiday Isle, Pelican Cover Resort and Theater of the Sea.

Rate Details: Rent range is $1500 to $1850/week depending on the season.
Additional Charges: $190 departure cleaning fee; reservation fee 3.9% of base rent and12.5% state and local taxes.
Refundable Security Deposit: $500. Pets are accepted at this property on a case by case basis. If you plan to bring a pet we will need to know the breed, age, and weight. If your pet is accepted there is an additional refundable security deposit of $200 for one pet and $100 for an additional pet plus an additional $45 departure cleaning fee.
Optional Insurances: Accidental Damage: $45 covers up to $3,000 of accidental damage during your stay.
Travel Insurance: This is an optional service we offer through a national travel insurance provider. Plans include valuable medical coverage, trip interruption, emergency travel services and more. They are located a little over an hours' drive south, southwest of Miami, Florida. The Keys are known for their casual lifestyle, crystal clear waters, spectacular snorkeling and diving, and as the fishing capital of the world.
Comfortable bed, sofa not so comfy. Clean and well decorated. Boat dock very close to house. Nearby boat ramp usable during high tide. Gated driveway for added security. Nice view of the ocean. No place to safely get in the water to cool off. Bait and tackle store next door and grocery store less than a mile.
Excellent service and a fantastic property. Just the way rentals should be!

We loved this condo in a beautiful location with excellent amenities. The standard and facilities are great, beach towels, loungers, coolers , beach chairs in addition to patio sets etc. Just Fabulous
My boyfriend and I stayed at The Sunshine Place to celebrate both of our November birthdays. I have been visiting the keys for many years and this is the best place I have found. The property was very well manicured and very private. It was a little paradise nestled back behind a privacy gate. Although it was Oceanside it was well protected for a small boat and my cockapoo also loved it. We had a couple of iguanas visit and the most exciting was a manatee came in the small canal one morning and we played with it for over an hour. Bentley (my cockapoo) and the manatee almost touched noses. Every morning we drank our coffee and looked out onto the ocean. Very convenient location by the whale harbor bridge and there was a starbucks and a fabulous restaurant Ciao Hound very close by. We ate there twice because it was so delicious. Also really enjoyed Lazy Days, they had the best Conch! The amenities inside the house were great too! Well stocked with just about everything you would need to cook a gourmet meal if you are so inclined to do. The staff at Florida keys rentals really went out of their way to accommodate us too. We were supposed to be there around 3pm and were quite delayed so they were able to work with us and followed up the next day to make sure we had everything we needed. This was a FABULOUS experience.
We've been coming to the keys for about 10 years. This was the first time we brought our boat and rented a house. Andy and her team at Keys Holiday Rental were outstanding before we even got to the house. Once we got to the house we were blown away, the pictures definitely were underrated not overrated as most other pictures for resorts/hotels usually are. The house is fully stocked with everything you could need, pots, pans, kayaks, and even a warm coat in case you need it. We've already booked again for next year! One word of caution there is an orange iguana that really likes to steal your fresh catch!
This house is perfect for a couple like us with a small dog. Nestled between 2 resort properties, Pelican Bay and Post Card Inn, the house is right on the water and the grounds are beautifully designed and maintained. You feel like you are in a resort, but you have it all to yourself. Sit on the patio and watch the fishing boats come and go and of course the pelicans. There are lots of small iguanas and geckos and one big iguana we nicknamed Iggy. There are also a couple of kayaks for your use as well. A very short walk to Theatre of the Seas, Abels Tackle Shop, Starbucks, Ciao (great dog friendly Italian restaurant) and the TIKI bars at Pelican Bay and Post Card Inn. You are very near the commercial center of Islamorada where there is a grocery store and lots of restaurants and shopping experiences. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook in or barbeque on the gas grill on the the patio. King bed is very comfortable and there is a futon in the living room for a short term guest or two. There is wifi, a good cell signal, and a television in the living room and the bedroom. A/C works great but we didn't use it much, we just opened the triple sliders and enjoyed the breeze off the ocean. The house faces east so in January the sunrises between the palm trees across the inlet and creates a spectacular view if you're up early. My wife and I stayed here for the month of January and absolutely loved it. Working with Keys Holiday Rentals was great, they were responsive to all our inquiries and made us feel welcome. We rented it again for next year and can't wait to go back.
