ABOUT VACATION RENTALS IN OAHU
Panoramic vistas and calm seas welcome you to Oahu island. Such is the variety of Oahu, Hawaii, that it makes for a unique vacation experience. Beaches, dormant volcanoes, sports & activities, and history & culture are the perks you get when you make that trip to Oahu. The most famous beach in Oahu is the Waikiki Beach, located in the southern portion of Oahu. One of the best times to see Waikiki is at sunset when the lights of Honolulu twinkle on and the sun sets after it's cruise through the skies. The Hanauma Bay Beach Park is located in a marine sanctuary and is filled with coral reefs and tropical fish.
Diamond Head, a dormant volcano, offers incredible vistas of the surrounding area. The top of the volcano can provide you a breathtaking view of the entire western portion of Oahu, including the Waikiki Beach, and the surrounding islands of Molokai and Lanai. It's a short albeit steep trek up the volcano. That's adventure for you at Oahu.
For a taste of Oahu culture and history, head to The Polynesian Cultural Center at Oahu's North Shore. Here you can get an idea of the music, dance, food, clothing, and cultural belief systems of the Polynesian people and enjoy the Ali'i Luau, which recreates the royal ceremony of ancient luau including the traditional custom of roasting a pig in a fire pit (imu in Hawaiian). Oahu island is a golf paradise too.
